Pakistani Teachers’ Views About Their Undergraduates’ Willingness to Communicate in English Inside the Classroom

The main goal of modern second language (L2) pedagogy is to engender effective communication among its learners. Willingness Communicate (WTC) has emerged as the most vibrant topic in L2 pedagogy, especially last two decades. A plethora research on students’ views about their WTC been conducted a variety contexts. However, teachers’ English still infancy. Thus, this study investigated ESL undergraduates’ inside classroom. cluster sampling technique was used collect data from 80 teachers eight universities Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province Pakistan. results revealed that viewed level high classroom situations, such during groups, activities with same and opposite gender, when given preparation time, seated middle class, front whole class. students showed moderate situations sitting class at back one-way ANOVA performed examine differences between different situations. significant current affirms dynamic variable changes situation situation.
